Our Story

Hi, I’m Stuart, founder of Hartley’s Huts. I created Hartley’s Huts in 2020 with a simple aim — to build a small collection of luxury lodges where guests can enjoy the peace, scenery and tranquillity of the Lancashire countryside. Alongside running a full-time farm, I take great pride in welcoming guests from across the UK and beyond.

I built and opened the first lodge in February 2020, and have since designed and built two more. Each cabin is handcrafted and bespoke, using timber grown right here in the Forest of Bowland. Every lodge has its own unique features, carefully designed to provide a relaxing and comfortable stay.
